(the border of these two towns sit inside Laguna Technopark).
It is a special industrial zone with numerous manufacturing companies situated inside, mostly Japanese.
Some of the companies in Laguna Technopark are:
Hitachi / HGST / Western Digital, Honda Parts, Fujitsu Ten, Toshiba, Sunpower, Futaba, Imasen, F-Tech, Tsukiden, etc.
EDIT: As of December 2016, security has tightened,
make sure you have a valid government ID with you as it will be required to be surrendered upon entrance to the Technopark. Some students / fresh graduates
who try to enter with only their school ID have been denied entrance.
Private transportation
To go to Laguna Technopark by private transportation,
you can always take Expressway, exit at Sta. Rosa or Eton exit.
When you reach Paseo de Sta Rosa intersection (Shopwise on your left, Caltex in sight)
turn right.
For private vehicles,
there are 2 gates you can pass through, Gate 1 and Gate 2. These are both on the right.
Gate 2 comes about 2 kilometers straight after Gate 1.
Tip: Gate 1 is always closed during holidays and at night but Gate 2 is always open.
You need to exit where you entered as your license will be taken as you enter.
Don't try to enter Gate 4 (thru Greenfield as this is only for vehicles with Technopark sticker).
Gate 3 is passable also for those coming from Cavite, even without Technopark sticker.
Public transportation from Manila
Note: tricycles are not allowed inside Technopark. There's a jeep inside.
From Manila, take a jeep, van, or bus to Balibago Laguna.
Or take the P2P bus from Glorietta 3 Makati or NAIA Terminal 3, to travel more comfortably.
See the guide here: https://viaexpressway.blogspot.com/2019/07/p2p-buses-to-laguna-from-makati-and-naia.html
At Alabang, there's a jeep at South Station to Balibago. There are also vans until Paseo de Sta. Rosa, you may ride these. I don't know where in Alabang the terminal is.
Get down at Coke exit (or at Balibago). Ride a tricycle at the terminal by Coke (or Balibago)
bound for "Ayala" or Laguna Technopark. And tell the driver which Gate - Gate 1 or Gate 2.
via Gate 1
Go down at Gate 1. Fare = P17 or P20 (Balibago).
Prepare an ID. Your ID will be taken at the pedestrian entrance.
You can claim it later as you exit Technopark.
Take a jeep once you enter Gate 1.
There are 2 jeepney routes, A and B. Just tell the dispatcher where you're going.
Fare = P7 each.
Tip: There are times when people are less and the jeeps take so long to fill.
If you can, try to come within the peak hours: 5am-8:30am, 12:30pm-2:30pm, 5pm-7pm.
via Gate 2
If the company you're going to is near Gate 2, I'd suggest you walk, it's faster than waiting for a jeep in the morning.
Tell the tricycle from Coke (or Balibago) that you'd like to go down at Gate 2.
The fare is P1 higher than gate 1.
Prepare an ID, it will be surrendered to guard. Walk to company.
Companies near gate 2 are IMI (the main IMI building only. as they have another building where you need to ride jeep at Gate 1. Make sure of the building.), other companies near Gate 2 are Honda parts (also, there's another building near Gate 1), Dai-ichi, Daiho, FCC.
via Gate 3 - costly, another ride after going down at Gate 2
(note that gate 3 location in Google Maps is WRONG, don't be misled)
If the company you're going to is near Gate 3, and you're in a hurry, you can enter using Gate 3.
Companies near Gate 3: Toshiba, Imasen, Futaba, Kito, Tsukiden
Tell the tricycle from Balibago to take you to Gate 2.
At Gate 2 tricycle terminal, go down. Change to a tricycle going to Gate 3.
Fare is P60, but you can wait for other passengers to split the fare.
At Gate 3, prepare an ID, it will be surrendered to the guard.
Walk to the company.
Public Transportation from Cavite, San Pedro, Binan
Go to Carmona palengke.
Ride the jeepney going to Laguna Technopark gate 3.
if there's no jeepney, you can ride a tricycle P70.
Go down at Gate 3. Leave ID at guard (for applicants).
Take a jeep inside once you enter Gate 3 or walk.
Public Transportation from Calamba, Laguna
Go to Calamba jeepney terminal.
Ride jeep to Paseo de Sta Rosa. (If no Paseo de Sta Rosa, then ride Balibago).
Go down at Paseo de Sta Rosa terminal. Click here for the new location of terminal at Laguna Central.
Ride a tricycle to Laguna Technopark.
See instructions above for those coming from manila about Gate 1, 2, and 3.
Public Transportation from Batangas
At Turbina (side of the gasoline station), on the way to Calamba,
in the morning, there are jeepneys to Balibago. You can ride these and follow the instructions at top of page.
Otherwise, it may be better to go to Calamba and follow the instructions above
(Public Transportation from Calamba, Laguna).
For Laguna Technopark Annex,
It's better to ride a "special" tricycle from Paseo de Sta Rosa

Any Questions?
I can usually answer questions next day, you may leave a comment. Thanks!
Hi. I'm headed to 104 South Science Avenue. Which Gate should I go through? Can you tell me how to get there from Coke? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteTwo choices: Ride a jeep or Walk. If you want to ride a jeep. Tell the tricycle at Coke bound for Laguna Technopark (also known as "Ayala" to the drivers) to get you to Gate 1. From there, ride the jeep to your destination company. Just tell the conductor where since there are 2 different jeepney routes.
DeleteFor the walking, tell the same tricycle to get you to Gate 2. From Gate 2, walk for about 10 minutes to your destination. Just ask the guard what direction to go to be sure (but it's going straight after the rotunda).
Hi, I'm a student and I just read about this, I don't have any ID except my university ID. I was called at Toshiba for a preliminary screening for my OJT. Is there any other way I can enter at Gate 3 without any ID?
DeleteHi, just want to ask how to go to Nidec Precision at Technopark. I'm from Calamba, near Light Industry and Science Park 2. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteFrom Calamba terminal, ride a jeep to Paseo. Get down at the end of the ride. Ride the tricycle to Gate 1 Technopark. At Gate 1, ride a jeep shuttle - just tell the conductor you're going to Nidec.
DeleteHi... my son will be staying there for a month for his ojt... could you suggest a safe place to rent a room near gate 2.. tnx
ReplyDeleteHI, I would suggest trying the San Jose Village near Metrobank or near the tricycle terminal.
DeleteHi I have interview with one company located in that park. I will be coming from Alabang. I will bring a car. What exit should I take? Please advise. Thank you so much in advance.:)
ReplyDeleteYou can take either Sta Rosa exit (comes 1st) or Eton City Exit.
DeleteHi, im going to laguna technopark tomorrow. Heres the address, Phase 5D, Lot 3, East Main Ave., Laguna Technopark, Biñan, Laguna. Can i ask how can i get there? Im fron sta rosa. But im not familiar in techno park. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi. Sorry for the late reply. From Sta Rosa / Balibago, ride a tricycle to Laguna technopark, also known to tricycle drivers as "Ayala technopark" until Gate 1. Enter gate 1 and ride the jeep, just tell the dispatcher what company (as there are 2 routes).
Deletehi ms. zeth, im also going to this address that you posted , how can i get there?
ReplyDeleteHi there! just wanna ask if i am coming from gate 3, How do i go to DLSU STC? Thanks!

DeleteI'm going to Sunpower Philippines, here's the address - 100, Laguna Technopark Incorporated, East Main Avenue, Binan, 4024, Laguna. I'll be coming from Verdana Homes Mamplasan. What route should I take?
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late reply. Going to Sunpower from Verdana Homes, it's better to take Gate 3.
DeleteTurn left at the rotonda, and turn right at the 2nd street. That's another 1 minute drive from there.
hi! i have my interview at shinetzu on monday, which gate should i enter and do i need to ride a shuttle service? thank you..
ReplyDeleteHi, for first timers to Laguna Tecnopark, always best to ride the jeep that goes around Laguna Tecnopark. There is a terminal at Gate 1.
DeleteIs that Shin-Etsu? Your best bet would be to take a jeep (internal shuttle) at Gate 1. That's quite far. Fare is P7.00
DeleteThere is also a jeepney terminal from Gate 3 (this is for those coming from Carmona / Cavite side).

ReplyDeleteHi. From Batangas, it's the same procedure. Ride a jeep to 1) Paseo de Sta Rosa Laguna or 2) Nuvali or 3) Balibago. I believe there's a terminal at Turbina. From there, tricycle to Technopark Gate 1. Enter pedestrian Gate 1 and ride the jeep/shuttle to whatever company inside Technopark.
DeleteHi, I'm a student and I just read about this, I don't have any ID except my university ID. I was called at Toshiba for a preliminary screening for my OJT. Is there any other way I can enter at Gate 3 without any ID?

ReplyDeleteUpdate: As of today, some student IDs are allowed (usually government schools) but some are not, so it is best to have the contact number of the company's HRD to be able to call them in case there is a problem at entry.
DeleteHi. May i just ask how to get to laguna technopark gate 2 from monumento caloocan?
