How to Go To Laguna Technopark Sta Rosa or Binan
Laguna Technopark is situated in Sta. Rosa and Binan Laguna
(the border of these two towns sit inside Laguna Technopark).
It is a special industrial zone with numerous manufacturing companies situated inside, mostly Japanese.
Some of the companies in Laguna Technopark are:
Hitachi / HGST / Western Digital, Honda Parts, Fujitsu Ten, Toshiba, Sunpower, Futaba, Imasen, F-Tech, Tsukiden, etc.
EDIT: As of December 2016, security has tightened,
make sure you have a valid government ID with you as it will be required to be surrendered upon entrance to the Technopark. Some students / fresh graduates
who try to enter with only their school ID have been denied entrance.
Private transportation
To go to Laguna Technopark by private transportation,
you can always take Expressway, exit at Sta. Rosa or Eton exit.
When you reach Paseo de Sta Rosa intersection (Shopwise on your left, Caltex in sight)
turn right.
For private vehicles,
there are 2 gates you can pass through, Gate 1 and Gate 2. These are both on the right.
Gate 2 comes about 2 kilometers straight after Gate 1.
Tip: Gate 1 is always closed during holidays and at night but Gate 2 is always open.
You need to exit where you entered as your license will be taken as you enter.
Don't try to enter Gate 4 (thru Greenfield as this is only for vehicles with Technopark sticker).
Gate 3 is passable also for those coming from Cavite, even without Technopark sticker.
Public transportation from Manila
Note: tricycles are not allowed inside Technopark. There's a jeep inside.
From Manila, take a jeep, van, or bus to Balibago Laguna.
Or take the P2P bus from Glorietta 3 Makati or NAIA Terminal 3, to travel more comfortably.
See the guide here: https://viaexpressway.blogspot.com/2019/07/p2p-buses-to-laguna-from-makati-and-naia.html
At Alabang, there's a jeep at South Station to Balibago. There are also vans until Paseo de Sta. Rosa, you may ride these. I don't know where in Alabang the terminal is.
Get down at Coke exit (or at Balibago). Ride a tricycle at the terminal by Coke (or Balibago)
bound for "Ayala" or Laguna Technopark. And tell the driver which Gate - Gate 1 or Gate 2.
via Gate 1
Go down at Gate 1. Fare = P17 or P20 (Balibago).
Prepare an ID. Your ID will be taken at the pedestrian entrance.
You can claim it later as you exit Technopark.
Take a jeep once you enter Gate 1.
There are 2 jeepney routes, A and B. Just tell the dispatcher where you're going.
Fare = P7 each.
Tip: There are times when people are less and the jeeps take so long to fill.
If you can, try to come within the peak hours: 5am-8:30am, 12:30pm-2:30pm, 5pm-7pm.
via Gate 2
If the company you're going to is near Gate 2, I'd suggest you walk, it's faster than waiting for a jeep in the morning.
Tell the tricycle from Coke (or Balibago) that you'd like to go down at Gate 2.
The fare is P1 higher than gate 1.
Prepare an ID, it will be surrendered to guard. Walk to company.
Companies near gate 2 are IMI (the main IMI building only. as they have another building where you need to ride jeep at Gate 1. Make sure of the building.), other companies near Gate 2 are Honda parts (also, there's another building near Gate 1), Dai-ichi, Daiho, FCC.
via Gate 3 - costly, another ride after going down at Gate 2
(note that gate 3 location in Google Maps is WRONG, don't be misled)
If the company you're going to is near Gate 3, and you're in a hurry, you can enter using Gate 3.
Companies near Gate 3: Toshiba, Imasen, Futaba, Kito, Tsukiden
Tell the tricycle from Balibago to take you to Gate 2.
At Gate 2 tricycle terminal, go down. Change to a tricycle going to Gate 3.
Fare is P60, but you can wait for other passengers to split the fare.
At Gate 3, prepare an ID, it will be surrendered to the guard.
Walk to the company.
Public Transportation from Cavite, San Pedro, Binan
Go to Carmona palengke.
Ride the jeepney going to Laguna Technopark gate 3.
if there's no jeepney, you can ride a tricycle P70.
Go down at Gate 3. Leave ID at guard (for applicants).
Take a jeep inside once you enter Gate 3 or walk.
Public Transportation from Calamba, Laguna
Go to Calamba jeepney terminal.
Ride jeep to Paseo de Sta Rosa. (If no Paseo de Sta Rosa, then ride Balibago).
Go down at Paseo de Sta Rosa terminal. Click here for the new location of terminal at Laguna Central.
Ride a tricycle to Laguna Technopark.
See instructions above for those coming from manila about Gate 1, 2, and 3.
Public Transportation from Batangas
At Turbina (side of the gasoline station), on the way to Calamba,
in the morning, there are jeepneys to Balibago. You can ride these and follow the instructions at top of page.
Otherwise, it may be better to go to Calamba and follow the instructions above
(Public Transportation from Calamba, Laguna).
For Laguna Technopark Annex,
It's better to ride a "special" tricycle from Paseo de Sta Rosa
